In my default view I try to change the 'Group By' and 'Sort Inside Groups By' parameters, but they keep going to back to their default setting no matter how many times I try (As soon as I set one, the other goes back). Am I doing something wrong or is something wrong? The view is not locked.

I'm not sure what you mean by "default view", but I've found this problem can be resolved by moving the view to a different location

For example, create a view group (e.g. Audio > Temp Group) and move the view in there.  Then make your changes.  You should be able to move it and the changes will then work thereafter.
