ONKYO preamplifier P-3000R - Sound problem debugging (clicks, stuttering, etc.)

I have the combination of ONKYO P-3000R & M-5000 preamplifier and power amplifier.
The preamplifier is connected via USB cable with my pc.
Windows 7 is the OS of my pc and an i3 processor is included, on a Gigabite motherboard.

Official drivers are downloaded directly from Onkyo website.

The problem is that if you are on play mode hearing a song and you want to search files on program, JRiver starts some “clicks and pops” an after it makes a delay in the rhythm of the song and then stops.

This video is about 9 minutes and you can see how JRiver reacts, when playing files with Asio Onkyo drivers and with Wasapi event style.

With Onkyo Asio drivers, the situation is really bad, but the sound is far better in all sections than with Wasapi. The difference is very critical!
Comparing sound between Asio & Wasapi event style, there is no chance for the last one…

The size of the buffer may matter, and smaller may be better than larger.

Make sure you try both WASAPI's.

I have test all the possible settings of buffer – smaller or larger – but no change…

In wasapi mode plays flawlessly either on “wasapi” or “wasapi event style”.
The problem exists only with Asio adjustment.

With Asio drivers the sound is far better than with wasapi.
It is preferable to solve the problem with Asio mode…

Any suggestions ?

I suppose that you didn’t understand until now my problem.

My preamplifier Onkyo P-3000R is capable to play either with wasapi  or with official Onkyo Asio drivers, with JRiver.

With wasapi I don’t have any problem. The JRiver is playing flawlessly.
The problem still exists with Asio drivers.

JRiver program is not working as it should be.
Clicks and pops starts, whenever I dare to explore my music collection!

Additionally the sound of JRiver with Asio, is far far better than with wasapi.

So please if you have any fresh news about updating JRiver to work as it should be with Asio, just let me know.

Try changing the buffer in audio settings for the device.  Smaller may be better.

Changing the buffer doesn't make any difference.
The problem still exists with Asio drivers... :-\

Other solution??

ASIO drivers are provided by the device manufacturer.  Did you try Onkyo?

After six months here are the results from the manufacturer:
Onkyo updates the provided Asio drivers, but the problem still exists (less).
Check the below link and if you have any suggestions just tell me.

asio4all isn't an ASIO driver.  It's a wrapper around Kernel Streaming.
