Is it possible to "simply" play a file from Finder?
« on: June 30, 2013, 07:34:28 am »

On the Windows MC version, I often just double-click a file in Windows Explorer to play it in MC.

This does not work on Mac for me. When I'm in Finder, and I try to drag-and-drop a music file to the "Playing Now" window, or try command-click and "Open With > Media Center", nothing happens.

Does MC for Mac have this capability? If yes, how do I activate it? If not, is it planned for the future? For me, this is one of the most needed features and this works with basically every program out there - you drag a file onto a suitable application and the file is opened in that application.

I agree, MC Mac should have this capability.  We'll look into it.
