Which version of lame is used in MC19?

Couldn't find a dll or lame.exe file...

It is an MC-specific dll, in_mp3.dll, in the app's Plugin directory.

That's the dll for encoding right?
And the version is? 3.97, 3.98?
Can we change the dll if we want to switch to another version? (not that I would necessarilty want to do this but.. :))

It is an input decoder (reads mp3).

For an encoder, can change the encoder to use an external encoder, and select your own lame.exe and arguments.  You can't swap out the dll.

I remember Matt updated the lame encoder used in MC, for the latest version of that time. Anyway you can swap the lame.exe (for encoding) to the version you want, I dont remember the path but when I get home I post it (if nobody already did)
