Automatic switching between PCM and DSD64/128?
« on: October 15, 2013, 12:06:03 pm »

Hi. I really like you software, but...

Is it possible to make the software switch between PCM, DSD64 and DSD128 output depending on the file you are playing?

The way it is today, you have to either select PCM output for both PCM and DSD files or DSD output for both.
The only way is to go into options and do the settings each time. Really annoying.

Also, how about a 352 and 384 setting in the DSP Studio sample rate settings?

I think you are mistaken.  If you search the forum this was just explained in another thread. I will look for it.

You can set all output to DSD by enabling PCM2DSD int he DSP window.

If you setup DoP or DSD Bitstreaming, it will DSD accordingly.

What DAC do you have?

Welcome.

I think you're looking for bitstreaming, not real-time DSD encoding.

DSD bitstreaming instructions here:

Just ask if you get stuck.

YES!!

How I missed this I don't know, but it made all the differance. Now all modes 44-384kHz and DSD64/128 are working "native" on the dac.

Thanks.
