A screenshot would be more helpful than "goofy" and "messed up" Frank.
Just press Print Screen or Prt Scr button near the top right corner of your keyboard when you are seeing the problem, open the windows application called Paint and press ctrl+v to paste the screenshot. Save the file as jpeg or png to a location you can find it, then come here, start a new post and press "Additional options..." And attach the image file.
Maybe we can see what the problem is :-)
