Ok, it's installed and started.  Now what do I do with it?  I presume I use a browser to open a page - what port number?

Not here either. How do you specify what port to use with the plugin?

Seems to be a bug with spaces in the view scheme name.

"Artist & Album"

Home \ Media Library \ Artist \ Artist \ Artist \ Artist

Keeps doing that.

Gatobrit,

In the Tree View, goto Plug-ins/HTML Control Server.

No port number here either. Maybe someone who's got this working can give a step-by-step? I'm running 218. Server appears to be running but I get a DNS error page in IE 6 when attempting to access http://127.0.0.1:80.

Nikolay - this is pretty neat but I suppose (hope) that this is a work in progress?

Anyway, it would be neat to be able to see exactly what is playing now (hit browser refresh to get the latest) - i.e. not the list of the playing now contents.

This is insanely cool stuff. I can't wait to see what else you guys do with this. Now if I only had another PC that I could network with... Next Page

3/16, I've got a bunch of friends coming over. They will have to try this. I'll convert them to MJ yet! I keep showing them all the cool stuff it does, and they all keep saying "Yeah, I keep meaning to go get that" but they never do. Surely this will be what it finally takes. Next Page

This is Great!!!  I had my Audrey's talking to MJ in minutes and I can finally throw away VNC.  This is exactly what I have needed for a long time.  It would rock if/when playlist is/can be incorporated.  Had to use socket 100 since 80 was already in use but not a problem at all.  Great job.

This is great!!

Keep up the Great work.

I have my system configured with 2 IP addresses on the same network card. The first address is the external IP assigned by my ISP, the other is a non-routed 192.168.x.x address.  How can I have the server listen only on my internal IP address?

Thanks
John

I just found that MJ will crash when the HTML interface is running if you probe the port that it is listening on.  I have moved it to ports other than the default port of 80 with the same results.  I am using WhatsUp Gold (www.ipswitch.com) to probe the system for leaks however I also tried using the on-line probe at www.grc.com with the same result.  grc.com will only test common ports so if you want to test using that site you will need to be listening on port 80.

just tried both.

the sleep timer the dark green for the timer letters I think should be a tad darker. it would be nice to be able to change the colors from green, red and blue, and maybe some other colors.

some clocks have a setting for bright and dim

I prefer red, thank you

blue is ok but at night and you start getting old it makes it hard to read due to myopia (problems focusing)
