how can I configure MC for playback HDMI TV and Audio from preamp. after watching tv with my HDMI out my audio holds that configuration, I have to manually return the settings to my audio preamp to play my audio music. is it possible for jriver to detect this automatically?

HDMI out for TV
audio out for my stereo "usb to preamp cp800"

tv stays connected to the pc
I want to configure MC so that when I turn on my amp and preamp that MC redirects the output to my audio system.

Yes it can be done using Zone Switch more info
It won't detect the power status of your preamp but it will send files to zones based on media type.
