TRACKINFO_INSERT_SEQNUMBER in 8.0?

Yeah, I know, it doesn't exist... yet.

How much trouble is it to implement new keywords into the Track Info dictionary?  Are you accepting requests for new ones?

If so, I'd like to display the 'Seq' position of the Playing Now list for the currently playing track.  That would let me know where on the active list my currently playing song is without having to scroll around looking for the little speaker icon.  It would do the same as PN_POSITION does in the player controls status line.

Thanks for the reply. I don't mean to seem impatient; I just didn't want my post to drop off the bottom of the page before it was seen.

As far as holidays and weekends go; it seems like your staff is online all the time.  I see posts from some of them at all hours of the day and days of the week.  They do deserve some time off, and you may have to force them into taking some.  I guess I'm just getting spoiled by the normally quick responses I've gotten used to seeing here.

New keywords: TRACKINFO_INSERT_PN_POSITION and TRACKINFO_INSERT_PN_TRACKS will be available in next build.

Thanks for the response and the addition of the new terms.

I hope all the pushes here are friendly.

While you're at it, can you fill dremo's request for a keyword that shows the track comming up next after the currently playing track?  I'm assuming that couldn't work while playing with shuffle turned on.  Or could it?

This is much harder.

Currently MJ does not send any information about next or previous tracks to Visualization plug-ins. I'll see what we can do.
