Last weekend I helped a friend setup his Colossus card with JRiver and his DirecTV. There were several problems:
1. JTV recordings are all tagged as 25 fps.
2. Live playback works fine with no issues using Hauppauge's WinTV V7. With JRiver and "Start analog channels in time-shifting mode" unchecked there is very bad lip sync issues and stuttering.
3. With "Start analog channels in time-shifting mode" checked all you get is the first frame frozen. The recording continues and you can skip forward/backward, but you can't actually play. Same for JTV or TS.
So, currently you can only record in TS since JTV tags incorrectly and you can't start watching until the TS recording is finished (I think that was the case).
Any suggestions for getting Live playback working? Need any log files? The OS is Windows 7 64-bit. HDMI is used for input into the Colossus.
