New Remotes Board (temp post)
« on: June 30, 2014, 10:51:05 am »

This board is new today.  Robert Ryan, author of JRemote and now at JRiver, will run it.

We will move threads about remotes from other boards here.  This will include some of the third party apps.

Can I suggest a slight name change?  If I was looking for Android or IOS apps to work with Media Center, I personally would never look under a Board called remotes.  I immediately think of the old IR remote controls which is a different topic.  Maybe "Remote Apps" or something similar instead?  My two cents.

It also includes hardware remotes.

You could also use a PC or Mac as a remote.

It also includes hardware remotes.

In that case "Remotes" makes the most sense.
