I am new to J River and have a windows 7 operating system. I there a way to shuffle albums
Also is there some way to isolate all of my HD files and put them into a playlist without having to do it manually with each individual file?
Can I also shuffle play and store my 5.1 DVD audios in the library and shuffle?

There's not a native way, but you can make a smartlist, limit to track one, shuffle, then expand to full albums.
