I cannot play 192k music flac files.  If I go to Options->DSP->OutputFormat and change MC to resample 192k to 96k and restart MC20, the file will play, but then as it goes to the next file, there is no output (actually low level static) and Options->DSP->OutputFormat has lost the setting to resample to 96k.  MC20 appears to be playing the 192k files, the elapsed time displays count down, but no output.

So I tried MC19.163 same thing...

I loaded MC19.155 and all 192k files play with out any resampling.

Are you using ASIO or WASAPI?

WASAPI.

If I set it to resample 192k to 96k again, and restart MC, it will play again, until the next 192k file, then I just get static again and the resample rate is set back to "no change".

My hardware will play 192k files without resampling.  They play in foobar and MC19.155.

As I mentioned, the 192k files play fine in MC19.155.  Could this be related to the problem with switching sample rates back in v19?

I was using WASAPI, I tried checking the box to disable WASAPI Event Style.  No change.

I use MC on one machine only and not as a client for other machines.

Okay, I found that the MC19.155 was set to resample 192k to 96k.    That explains part of it.

Then I realized I did have a FLAT preset for the 192k files that would *sort* of explain why a change to the OutputFormat setings would seem to go away.

I am having same/similar problems with 20.0.14. I have changed nothing in my system other than to update to .14, and now I received error message that MC cannot play my 192k, 6 channel FLAC files. All I can tell you is that it was working perfectly (as always) just before the update installed.

192k files are playing fine here.  Double-check your DSP Studio settings, because you might need to resample.

I did have to track down a USB cable the a co-worker "borrowed".  Darn it John!  Otherwise no drama.
