Can't use DAC with Mac mini

Since a day I cannot use my inboard Accuphase DAC-40.
I can choose this DAC with the audio/midi-config with every other program (Amarra etc.). I have re-installed the MC on the Mac mini without any difference. Does anyone have any clue?

Have you selected it as the active audio device under Tools > Options > Audio?

Thanks for your reply. Yes I did select it.
The strange thing is that I installed it afterwards on my Macbook pro and it just works with exactly the same tweaks! I did run over all the possibilities but cannot find anything.

Please enable logging (Help / Logging), then restart MC, try to find your device, then send me a log file (johnt at jriver dot com).  Thanks.

Thanks John. After a second re-install on Yosemite everything works again but.... I think I found my problem with MC on my Mac mini.

MC 'claims' the MIDI-choice (i.c. my Accuphase-dac). When I try another program like iTunes this program can only use the build-in-OUT. While using the internal speakers at that point MC doesn't work anymore on the Accuphase-dac. I tried out the two settings "Open device with exclusive setting", no difference.

Do you recognize this?
