JRiver on Q1900-ITX problem
« on: October 17, 2014, 03:55:42 pm »

Hi,
So i just finished building an Asrock Q1900-ITX with the intention of running it as a client with JRiver installed. I've run into a problem of Theater View not working. I was intending to boot straight to Theater View to make it as simple as possible. The problem is it gives the error of "Error starting Direct3D engine - adapter 0 not capable of windowed mode". i see a few others have had this error and they are told to update the graphics driver.
I can load and watch movies from the server using standard view.
I am running JRiver 19.0.163 and all the latest Asrock/Intel drivers/utilities. I have Win7 64bit.
any ideas? will Theater View work on this?
Thanks for any advice given.
thanks
Eric

The driver may not support 3D graphics, which Theater View requires.  That would be unusual.
