I have ripped a blu-ray ISO that is a calibration disc, but when trying to play it, I get the message "Failed to connect Video Decoder to source/spiltter" my first though was that it misses a codec or something, but I have never had the problem before, and when trying to play some random videos from BDMV\STREAM it works fine in MC, so it seems to handle (at least some) of the video on the disc. Any tips?

Never mind the portion about beeing able to play the m2ts-files in the Stream-folder, I am NOT able to play theese, I get the same error (It's just when i double clicked, it was opened by JRMC19, and it worked there)

The codec is VC-1 4:2:0 YUV, isnt it a bit weird it works in 19, but not 20?

I have attached one of the smallest files from the STREAM-folder, nice if someone could try to check if it plays on their JRMC20-install.

Thanks for checking. But Isnīt  abit weird that it doesn`t work for me? Never had any problem playing any videofiles with newer version of MC before. Is there a way to force redownload of the filters and codecs or something? As mentioned, it works fine in MC 19. (in MC 20 i run red october standard)

I double checked on another computer i have with MC installed, worked fine there (the latter was win7 though the former is win8.1), so must be something with the install. So is there a way to reinstall coedcs and filters without reinstalling the whole program?

There's no need to reinstall.  It's possible download of the filters was blocked.  You could try reinstalling MC.

I tried reinstalling MC, but that didn't fix it, is there a way to manually reinstall the filters/decoders? Seems like something has messed them up on my computer (some other video software perhaps), and maybe MC doesn't download it, because the files are already there (but dysfunctional)

MC downloads its own filters and keeps them separate.  You could read about Red October on the wiki.

I didn't find any info there on where the filters MC use are stored, might it help deleting the filters from the harddrive, en thus forcing a redownload?
