Library "read-only" - how to troubleshoot?
« on: January 01, 2015, 09:35:41 pm »

I've just installed the latest release '.50' and have the same issue i had with .45- every time i launch i get the 'read-only database' warning. I found a couple of library backup files in the JRiver folder and deleted them but that changed nothing. In searching the board i see the suggestion that it's two instances running but i made sure to delete the earlier version - although i had the same issue with that too. Any suggestions?

What if you try making a new library at a location you know you control?  Look at Tree > Playing Now > Playing from ... > Add Library

Thanks for the suggestions. I just deleted the problem library and it seems fine now.
