JRemote will be released in the next few days.  It will still need polishing, but we're very pleased that Robert Ryan and JRiver have been able to reach this stage.  You can read a little more here:

Exciting news! Will the Android version include the same set of functionalities like the iOS version, or will it be a downsized version in the beginning?

I guess it's going to need a different name since JRemote is already taken by another app on android...

I think we precede it.  The JRemote name was originally registered by Robert Ryan in October, 2011.

I'm going to get that as well, for sure! But is it because English is my second languague, or do the people of the great nation of USA have another definition of "a few days" than I do? ;)

Been checking the site every day waiting for it to drop.  Used it on my iPad until I grew to hate the iPad and Apple products!  Now using Android and Windows (much happier - and FREE!)

So, as soon as it drops, sign me up!
