Theater View drawing issue

I bought a new video card yesterday for my htpc - a GTX 750 Ti. It's working great but I notice thumbnails and text in theater view "shimmer" or flicker, even when idle. I've tried lowering the frame rate and various other things. I've never seen this before. Anyone else?
