I am looking for advice in using JRiver with a very large library of music and movies. I have a 15TB Lacie NAS drive with 275,000 songs and another 6 NAS drives with DVD and Bluray. I had a large failure of drives when my AC system shut down and cooked my drives. I have restored my music but not my movies. I have 15 USB drives with all my movies on backup. The backup drives have the movies saved as iso images. What is the best file type to convert the iso images to for playback on JRiver. I am moving and would like to set up my system in my new home using my Dell Alienware PC as my main server for JRiver. I have 3 other rooms that I would like to playback movies and music. Do I need to have a main PC as a server or can I just use a JRiver ID box. I was also thinking of using a mac mini at each location and loose the Dell PC all together. I need it to be easy to use and control. I see there are many options just not sure how to proceed.
