Pono Tagging.
« on: July 03, 2015, 02:18:07 pm »

I've switched from EAC to PMW to rip my discs but I find the tagging isn't as great.
I just ripped my Coop's Welcome To My Nightmare SHM CD and when I clicked the search for tags all I got was a title of only one song.

Does PMW require us to download a search program like EAC?

I also tried to load the ripped songs into MP3tag but MP3tag said "no items match your search"
?

It should find at least 90% of the CD's you rip, unless they are really obscure.  You can enter the data for those you don't get.

Cheers.
So I don't need to set up a search program like I did when installing EAC?

You shouldn't have to do anything, other than rip the discs.

OK...thanks.

Now I have to figure out why my MP3tag won't load the Flac files from PMW & EAC.
