Volume control domination
« on: September 16, 2003, 12:55:53 pm »

Why MC 9 use the Principal volume control for all aplications?
For example, when i use MC and other program like TV Tuner, the volume of MC down the volume of TV Tuner. In multi-zone plyback (Zone 1 and Zone 2) volume is the same. I can`t control different volume for this zones. It is most useful to work apart, like winamp do.
I try to set output, directsound, waveout but ... no result.

pls help !!!

Winamp uses waveout, it doesn't control only its own volume.  Windows Media Player is a better example.

This has actually been discussed at length already...  Try searching the forums.  I can't remember what the disposition was of the discussion, as I fell asleep in the middle.

If you had searched, like nameless suggested, you'd know by now that it isn't. But it will probably resurface on the wishlist for MC10...again...

I was going to agree with you Mastiff but it's actually not that easy to find unless you remember the original thread.
