wireless connection VPN

I have TCPPLUS PRODUCT AND HAVE BEEN USING ON MY DESK TOP COMP.  I NOW HAVE A WIRELESS LAP TOP FOR TRAVELING AND WOULD LIKE TO USE MY VPN AT HOME AND ON THE ROAD.  I FEEL IT MAY BE A FIRE WALL ISSUE BUT HAVE TRIED ALL POSSABLE CHANGES.  CAN YOU ADVISE

If your VPN is working you should be able to telnet down it, lots of people use our software that way. There is probably a firewall issue at the point of entry to your work network, either in a VPN configuration or a firewall past that (like a wan router firewall).
