I have a strange problem.  PC is running XP sp2 and tcp pro 5.1.09.  After a reboot (pc was not locked up and pro was not running) the hosts pop-out windows will no longer open and the program will not "remeber" any ip numbers anymore.  There have been no new programs installed on this pc.  I can go into the registry and see the hosts in the files there, but the system simply does not remember them.  I tried an uninstall/reinstall...same problem.  If you click on the hosts button the main windows will lose focus, but nothing ever pops up.

never mind....sigh searching the forum solved my problem.  It usualyy helps if you do that before you post

If the hostname/address isn't being saved, it's a registry permissions problem. Check this post:
