get upnp renderer information
« on: September 15, 2015, 01:31:27 pm »

Is there a way in JRiver 21 to get and display upnp renderer information, like ip address, supported formats?

Read some of AndrewFG's posts and take a look at his signature.  He has a utility that may help.

My real problem is there are 2 renderers with the same friendly name on our lan currently. I would like a way in jrdiver to tell them apart. In Foobar2000 you can right click on a renderer and get it properties, which would tell me what I need to know. I was just wondering if the was anything like this in JRiver?

Right click > Rename.

And Right click > Show Device Web Page will give you further information. And the web browser address bar will tell you the IP address of the device you are looking at.
