This might me a bit OT here, but have you thought about adding chromecast support? Just got one and it's kinda cool...

We don't know yet.

I hope iOS will follow. Market share may be down, but it's still huge in absolute numbers.

I searched a long time for a android player, which can handle tagging. So, I wanted a player, that can be used by different tagging-sorts, behind one another.
I.e. I can first search by genre, then I can select my favourite componist and then his albums.
The most player have max. only 2 filter-possibilities consecutively.
Will this come with an android-JRiver-player?
I would buy it immediately.

Sorry for my bad english.

really happy to see such kind of evolution. The Smart TV users are waiting for it.

Please try to implement a solid and valid USB audio connection, in this way users will be in the position to use Smart TV and NAS (DLNA) to feed audiophile audio chain.

No.  Sorry.  It won't be quick.  And we won't be able to say when it will be done until a lot of it is done.

We're close to being able to play music.  That means that a lot is working, but sometimes small things take a long time.

I will be looking forward to see what you guys come up with.

Having something that could read and allow custom display / branching  based on custom tags, etc would be great for making  library navigation a lot easier.

(I'm thinking the ability to  Display by Genre, then by a custom tag, to further narrow things down)

I stubbornly hold on to my iPod Classic 120gb because its the only iPod that syncs with MC hassle free, has huge storage, etc.. But  navigating a huge library is a pain in the car, etc.
