My version 20 closed down twice today, and a webpage opened up saying:
" Your media player is corrupt - download the latest version by clicking download above" and when you do, you get version 21 and demand for money.
At best it looks like a ploy to get people to upgrade and pay.
At worst it is!
Is my hand being forced?

No, it is fully possible to get v20 from the Mc20 subforum.

The link to the latest version of MC20 is right here at the top of this forum.  You can download it for free right from there and use your existing license (if necessary).

I don't believe I ever said "one could not get version 20" I can even get versions 19 - 18 etc. !
I know where it is, and how to get it, however, this was new.
