I don't know if this is gonna be acceptable or not, but right now I do not care.

I urgently need the prayers of anyone who so believes for my partner/spouse (Rachel) who was in a motorcycle accident this evening.
She was rescussitated and taken to the ER where she became conscious and coherent.
She is presently undergoing surgery and then headed to the I.C. for a while.
If it is within you to pray, and you do not have a religious conflict praying for a lesbian couple, PLEASE do so.

I too, send my positive thoughts and good wishes to you and your partner. Having recently survived a stint in ICU myself, I have much empathy for you and your loved one.

My friend is since few months in a wheelchair.
We are a masculin couple.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart . . .

Rachel came through the surgery at about 11:00 e.d..t. and I was with her for a while afterward. She was concious and responsive, but because of the breathing tube she was unable to speak.

The repaired her coumpound fracture in her ankle, and her broken shoulder blade. They are watching her split spleen and other internals for signs of further internal bleeding. They inserted a chest tube and taped her 8 broken ribs (thus the breathing tube . . . rib pain can cause inability to breath).

She will be treated on Monday for burns on her abdomen which require surgery and skin grafts.

Thank you ALL, I am sure the prayers, positive thoughts, and good wishes were of great help.
Hopefully the rest will be 'cake' from here.

I will advise of any changes of her condition, and they will be all good ones, right?

Update
It was an extremely scary night, much emotion, many tears, lots of prayer.
She is looking better, Rachel's spirits are up . . . even her corny sense of humor appears to be resurfacing.
They will be performing additional surgeries this week, but barring any complcations the worst appears to be over. She is a pretty tough woman.
Bad news, my dad came to help me through today and as we left the hospital he had chest pains ?
He is in the E.R. sleeping while they monitor him and decide whether to admit him or send him home.

Anyone wanna adopt Lisa the jinx :-/

Dad was released yesterday after a stress test, he apparently did NOT have a heart attack but he will see his cardiologist as soon as he can just to be safe.

Rachel had additional surgery yesterday and they seem to have the internal bleeding under control. Barring infection or pneumonia she should be out of Intensive Care soon. The fact that they are allowing her to eat as of this morning (a gourmet meal of green jello) is a positive indication that she is becoming stabilized.
