MC 20 and 21 very unstable
« on: October 24, 2015, 04:02:03 pm »

I have been a long time user of MC since 8 or so.  MC 20 would hang whenever doing anything more than simple playing.  Build a new library - hang.  Burn - hang. X-out to close - hang.  I upgraded to Win 10 hoping to relieve.  No joy.  Upgraded to MC 21 - same issues.  19 is very stable.

I'd appreciate any suggestions or advice.

Thanks in advance.

Try changing the internal browsing engine to "Internet Explorer" rather than Chromium.

Very similar problems. I didn't have a problem until V20.115, now it hangs on exit.

Still looking for a solution and trying to run it down with suggestions from this board.

The options page has a search window at the bottom.  Search for "browser".

I believe it's under the View menu.

Antivirus programs can do that.  There is a long thread on this.  Start at "Weird Problems" in my signature and look for a link at the top.
