It's LIVE at Kickstarter now.
Are you going to extend the dead line?  11 days left and a long way to go :(

I really want to see this go off - I may even donate again on the 18th!!!!

Probably not.  I'm not sure we can.  If it doesn't get funded, we'll do something else.

I just now found out about this campaign via the "Winning Streak" email.  Has JRiver not sent a launch email to pump this campaign?  Additionally, the JRiver website should include a banner and Link.  Also, the Interact Forum should have a banner and link to the campaign as well.  Anyone have any connections over on AVS Forum?  This should be on their front page as well.  The campaign has been running for 2 weeks, time to step it up.

I will try and spark some interest on AudioCircle and AVS Forum.

Thank You,
Shane

I received this response from an audio circle member regarding JRiver TVPlus as a Windows MC replacement, any thoughts?

Maybe.  I didn't upgrade my Windows 7 HTPC to Windows 10 so that I could continue to use my Ceton InfiniTV cableCARD tuner with Windows Media Center.

Windows 7 Media Center works fine (with the exception of the crappy Rovi guide that replaced the previous Zap2it guide), although the EOL of Windows 7 is some cause for concern.

I would have to read about some specific user success with MC TVPlus and the ability to play content previously recorded with WMC along with compatibility with Ceton InfiniTV and Cisco/Scientific Atlanta cableCARDs before I fund "development".

Thanks for the heads up.

Good luck, I don't need this feature, but i think having a kickstarter is an interesting idea for some of the larger but also specific features of the program.

I don't believe there should be any expectation to play previously recorded Copy Once content from WMC.  Think about it - you can't rebuild your WMC PC and play previously recorded Copy Once content, nor can you move it to another WMC system.  Playing it via JRiver MC would be analogous to doing one of those.  And there won't be any user success at all if the Kickstarter doesn't get funded...
