Installation on Windows 10

I have tried to install MC 21 on Windows 10 on a new computer twice. It will not install. From memory the error message was skin failure, then default skin failure. I was advised to reinstall. Another failure. Advice please.

I run MC 20 on a Windows 7 PC with same security software and it works perfectly.

I believe MC needs to be installed using an account that has Administrator privileges.  Are you installing as an Administrator?

Yes, as administrator.

I have tried a third installation. I downloaded from the 'here' button. Installation worked.

Why is this?
