TMDb bad results
« on: March 02, 2016, 03:10:05 pm »

I bought a Korean film called "Mother" today.
The TMDb results for it are hopeless.
I get 20 films that seem to be in a random order (2016, 1990, 1986, 1979, 1977, 1990, 2013, 1952 etc.) and not one of them is the correct film.

If I maximize the window, I just get a huge text box instead of seeing a bigger list.

Searching for "Mother 2009" or "Mother (2009)" did not help.
I had to look up the film on IMDb (first result!) to find its original name, "Madeo" and then I get the correct result right away - but it still shows up as "Mother" !

I think there are some changes that would quickly improve this.

1. Display all results - or at least 50 instead of 20.
2. Display TMDb and RottenTomatoes results in separate panes.
3. Clicking the pane header should sort films chronologically.
4. Maximizing the window should increase the list height, not the poster/info height - those should stay the same size.
