Stop prompts to initialize iPod
« on: April 21, 2016, 07:30:12 pm »

I do not want to use JRiver to manage content on my iPods, but every MC version I've owned continually prompts to initialize any attached iPod. This is a nuisance and has caused problems when I haven't paid sufficient attention to where I was clicking. Is there any way to turn off those prompts so that they NEVER occur?

I don't know, but you could try turning off iPod and iPhone support in Option>General>Features.

Try a right click and hide.

Try the Handheld Sync options.

Roderick your solution did it - Removing the checks the boxes next to iPod and iPhone Support in Tools\Options\General\Features. It continues to amaze me how big this application is. Thanks, Rick
