...please do not post images or links concerning splat pains untill 9.1 is released. The JRiver staff might get grumpy. Better post something about vegetables, pets or funny beards.

There's a reason for the grumpiness. We'll share it later. We have some "special" requirements to meet right now and it is limiting the flexibility we might normally have. Your patience will be appreciated.

I thought that some beards are not possible without hairspray... that can be dangerous in some cases (smokers with beards...). Just wondering if some beards already have made bad experiences...

Someone took a picture of me yesterday for our safety meeting today to point out hazards.

Getting near me was a hazard per the sales department (unless they want some info that may help them). Normally it does not help them because I tell them "No" or "that was dumb"

second leak test with a mask. The tube from the mask to be disconnected from the rest of the air pack and a
suction shall be drawn on the mask for a full 10 seconds without any signs of a leak showing.

If the officer finds the individual is not able to properly don the SCBA, that individual will be assigned to a non-hazardous duty for the duration of the fire. The situation will be brought to the attention of the Fire Administrator after the fire is over.
