paypal error
« on: September 03, 2016, 12:10:55 am »

I am trying to buy this software but paypal error stops me
I have tried coming back later as suggested by the error message but it has not corrected itself for more than 3 weeks
Is there a way to get my paypal to work?

It will probably be a little quiet on the forum this weekend.  It's Labor Day on Monday.  Something like a "bank holiday" in Europe.  We're not sure what it is, but it's always nice to have a long weekend.

Thanks for your patience if we're slow to reply.

For the team,

Jim

Paypal is working.  Do you live in Greece?

What is the error?

I live in Australia. The error is after i select pay on the screen in paypal it says try again later. I have filled in the stupid payment rigmarole that demands all my privacy information and is compulsory apparently if you want to own this software. then i connect to my paypal account that is linked to my credit card and it fails. getting very sick of this stupid system. why cant i just buy the stupid program?

We are sorry, we are experiencing temporary difficulties. Please try again later. If this error occurred while making a payment, avoid duplicate payments by checking your Account Overview before resending a payment.

For some browsers, this problem can be resolved by clearing or deleting cookies.

Did you try doing this?

What browser are you using? Have you tried clearing the browser cache and cookies (as mentioned above)? Have you tried another web browser?

Ultimately, this seems to be a Paypal issue, not a JRiver issue so you might want to consider contacting Paypal.

Is that necessary?

Occasionally a problem takes time to solve.
