Moved, rescan freezes

I'm just now getting my antenna setup after moving and also upgrading to MC22.  I have an HDHomeRun and when I go into MC and scan channels, it opens the "Scan Channels" window and freezes.  I've done this a few times now, selecting to reset settings, etc.  In the HDHomeRun software, I have JRiver setup and have scanned the channels in there successfully. 

Any ideas?  Thanks!

I'm tempted to give you a one word answer, but I'll bite...  Firewall is off.  Anti-virus is off.  This PC is quite insecure because that's the number one response to many issues I see here.  Drives me crazy, but it seems those issues are not typically addressed at the core.  I added MC22 to the list of programs allowed through the Windows firewall, even though it's off, but the same thing happens.  When scanning channels, MC stops responding.  The server still functions as I'm able to playback other content through connected clients.

PS - I realized I posted this in the main MC forum by habit.  I see you marked it as moved, but it's still showing in that forum to me.

SiliconDust has instructions about the firewall.  Have you looked there?

Seems it was Windows Defender, not the firewall or anti-virus protection.  I fully shut it off and the scan now starts.  Are there instructions here on how to properly set that up with JRiver as the exception?  I don't think I changed this before, so I'm assuming that this crept up with the upgrade to MC22.

Also check with SiliconDust for installation instructions.
