I am getting freezing issues with this version...
Sometimes when playing music,, the program freezes  and I have to terminate it in the Task Manager.
Sometimes when I rip a CD, the program window will slowly jerk down and up again, a graphic artifice will appear on the window (as indicated by the red arrow) and the program would freeze.

I don't think that is an MC problem.  My guess would be antivirus software or video driver.

Does it only happen when playback is active?

If you let it run idle, does it freeze by itself? How about if you use MC to do other stuff (tagging, etc) but have no playback active, does it work fine?

If it is generally only happening during playback or disk access, I'd look at:

• Disk issues (filesystem issues on the media disk, or trouble generally with the SATA or USB drivers)
• Anti-virus
• Audio or GPU (video) drivers

If it happens all the time, whether playback is active or not, then we could look at other solutions. Possibly a corrupt media file in your Auto-Import Watched Directories, or maybe just needing to be completely uninstalled/reinstalled (if there is some other corruption in the install directory or registry entries).

One last thing worth mentioning, you can have your media files on a slow, external or network disk, but you should NOT have your Library on a slow disk. That can cause bad performance and long hangs (though they should eventually unstick, if you wait them out):
