Jim...
You look alot like Roger Waters in that photo...hmmmm...I'm thinking your one and the same, so I must ask...
Why did you leave Floyd? Why did your music become so political? Are you running for office? How come you stopped singing (well) and have taken up sort of a white man's rap? Will you always have the same R&B backup vocals on future albums that you've had since Final Cut? Shouldn't they take a vacation? Would you consider injecting some good melody and instrumentals back into your works?
I love you man but you need to return to your roots. The first step would be for you and Gilmour to make up. Saying sorry is not that difficult. I regularly tell my mother that I'm sorry I caused her so much pain during childbirth. She usually responds by knocking me down, shouting "NOW YOUR GOING TO FEEL THE PAIN THAT I WENT THROUGH HAVING YOU!!!" and kicks me in the ribs a dozen times or so. Deep down, I know she appreciates my sincerity...and we're good friends. I'm sure it would be the same with Dave, though I'd wear a cup if I were you. Whisper some sweet nothings into his ear and you'll bag him. When you show Nick and Richard that you and Dave are buds again, they'll fall like dominos. With all wounds healed, the rebirth of Floyd could be accompanied by "Kiss & Makeup" album with new material (good album title too...don't you think?). Maybe you could bring Syd in for a couple tracks?
Swallow your pride, Roger. Make this thing happen!
