I am on my last day of my trial period for JRiver and just discovered this problem. All my music was ripped with dBpoweramp and confirmed with Accurate Rip. I noticed that some albums skipped and some didn't. Then I tried to see if there was any similarity in the albums that were skipping and found that all the albums with a bitrate of less than 200 were skipping but those up in the 700+ range were not. Is there any setting that can correct this? I haven't read anywhere that one needs to specify a high bitrate when ripping CDs so I just ripped them all to FLAC using the standard settings in dBpoweramp. Any information would be greatly appreciated as this is very frustrating and also has a strong influence on whether or not I can conclude that JRiver is the best media player to purchase.
