Greetings,

After trying a number of times without success I turn to you. I picked up a Echo Dot and discovered the skill, so I downloaded the latest MC and enabled House Band on the dot. Tried linking, failed, tried again, failed and so on. I have done the port forwarding, again tried and failed a number of times. Nothing have tried allows me access to the server outside the network. I was able to access it via Kindle Fire running Gizmo on the same network. Problem is I want it for Alexa and House Band abilities, not to play on a Fire. Outside access is only a priority as it appears to be a requirement of Echo Dot and House Band. Any info is appreciated, however I have tried with and without port-forwarding with the same results, so please take that into consideration prior for reply. Thank you for your time and support.

If it works on your LAN, but not from the Internet, then the problem is probably with the port forwarding or firewall.  This wiki topic might help:
