Moving cover Art from folder location to inside file
« on: January 07, 2017, 12:08:16 am »

Good Day,

Season`s greetings to all!

I have found recently, since the other half started using MC to transfer music to her Android phone, that a lot of my album have the cover art in folder rather than embedded in file.
I have a smartlist that gives me all album without the cover art embedded and it returns more than 500 in that situation...
Then I tried to understand how to automatically transfer the image in folder to inside file, but can`t figure it.
Any one here know how to make it?

Many thanks in advance.

Try the Library Tool called "Update Tags from Library" on one or two files.

Make sure you have MC set to store cover art in the tag.

"Store art in file's tag."

The options page has a search window at the bottom.
