Problems after reinstall (new SSD)
« on: February 07, 2017, 05:02:42 pm »

Tonight I installed a new SSD and restored my MC21 for Windows (10) I reinstalled the USB2.0 driver from Cambridge Audio for my DacMagic Plus (V.3.26)

Reimported my Library but can't play anything.

Get this dialogue text

'Something went wrong with playback:

Details:

Playback could not be started on the output "ASIO: using the format 44.1kHz 2Ch.

The output format may not be supported by your hardware. You can use
DSP studio to change the output to a compatible format.

Also make sure the system has a valid sound playback device and that it is properly configured in playback options". -end

Everything was fine an hour or two ago, I do notice that the Realtek HD Audio Manager panel says

"You are seeing a blank page because there is no audio devices plugged in the system To activate the GUI plug an audio device in the system"

Im lost - any ideas where I can start looking and what can I do?

many thanks

Paul

Did you try rebooting?  Or powering the DAC down and back up?
