Ceton InfinitiTv 6 Pci-E card support?? Not working
« on: February 09, 2017, 02:54:00 pm »

Hi,

I have Windows 10 1607 and know about the limited support past 8.1 but got the drivers working for the Ceton PCI-E card and even able to view television using NextPVR but when I go to search for tuners with either JR or MCE none are found. Any ideas??

Thanks

Please take a look of this thread.

I have not personally tested this particular model, but I don't think there is any reason why it should not work.

You know I did check that out and tried it out and at first it didn't work, but maybe a reboot of the system or something fixed it because now it works. Thanks.

PS: You would earn the mvp award if you could tell why Windows media center on Win 10 doesnt see any tuners? Suspect same reason.

Thanks.

Edit: Meant to say now it works! Thank you.

The usual fix for WMC not seeing the Ceton tuners is to re-install the drivers from Ceton. I had to do that when I switched my guide during the latest outage. After resetting my WMC configuration it could not see the Ceton until I reinstalled the drivers.
