DUPLICATE TRACKS
« on: July 10, 2003, 10:34:39 am »

I've bought media center and when making compilations I keep getting some tracks twice for some reason. The tracks are not on other albums and it seems to be randomly picked from my jukebox.
Any ideas?

There was a bug a while back where it was having the file twice.

one with the proper file name then one with this in it:

blah\..\blah\..\.\..\blah
type thing where it was basically just for some reason going up the path then carrying on again - see if you have that - it's easy to find with a search for:
\..\

if u do delete all the tracks like that and then your library should be fixed - I had it and it never came back once I fixed it.

The tracks only appear as duplicates when I come to making a compilation- if I try to remove one from the playlist they both disappear...when I check the album they come from the tracks appear as normal ie not duplicated.
Any other ideas anyone?
