How to Place Tracks in Album Order when on USB
« on: March 20, 2017, 04:28:34 am »

Hi
For no apparent reason the Album Order has become random when downloading on a USB. It has always worked fine.
Would you please inform me of how I can correct this?

PS I attached my System info to the Clipboard but I don't know where it is too be able to add it here.
I would appreciate assistance with this too.  :)

It's not a Media Center problem, it's just how flash drives work on most equipment.

Click the link.

One easy fix is to rename the files on the USB using something like

[track#] - [name] - [artist]

Thanks yannis & Dawgincontrol

For replying so quicklly with your solutions.

It turned out to be much easier.

I changed from a Toshiba USB to a Verbatim STORE N GO.

Now I can get exactly what I wanted

Every Album in the correct track Order

Thanks for being willing to asssist me  :)

I would still like to know where I can Locate the Clipboard when I I need to copy my PC system information onto it.  :(

You could search on the Internet for how to use the Windows clipboard.  Ctrl-C copies, Ctrl-V inserts.  Or right click and choose copy or paste.

Crusader56, Hi:

Here is a simple technique I use quite often for this forum. I employ a Windows accessory called the 'Snipping Tool'. It allows me to create and save an image that can be attached to my posts. An example of this is attached, which highlights my system info.

Cheers,
Lawrence
