Problem analyzing audio for audio files
« on: March 21, 2017, 12:28:14 am »

Ive got 100K files in my library. When trying to import using "Analyze audio for audio files" option, if a certain file can't be analyzed, it stuck and never continues. if i stop importing and restart, it would always stop at the same place. I have no problem importing all files without this option. This problem had been since JRiver 18 version & never got fixed. Please make the audio analyze continue even if theres a problem analyzing one of those files.

22 last update. but as i said, this bug has been since version 18, without any change. I tryied analyzing audio with each and every version without success, from the same reason - once a file can't be analyzed, the analysis always stops in this file, even if restarting.

Sorry but i dont understand your answer.

He wants you to say 22.0.81 or whatever. In the meantime, turn off the analyze on import feature and analyze each album separately, or several at a time in batches.

Thanks!
I checked & my version is 22.0.81. I tested & the bug is there.
But as i said, since version 18, this bug is the same - if JRiver fail to analyze one file, it always stops when analyzing it.

Could you share one of the files that won't analyze with me?  I'm matt at jriver dot com.

Thanks!
