Hi guys,

My installation of MC 22 is failling to download the latest video filter dependencies since I've updated to the latest one.
It worked totally fine until upgrade to lav58, I don't remember when components have been upgraded last time but it's a while, and it worked when it happened.
 
I've uninstalled the whole package and it's still behaving wrong.

As we can see MC22 is not blocked by any firewall since it downloaded other resources some lines before.
It fails on a timeout of 20s.
When using the URL to download via a browser (on the same machine) it downloads the file without any problem. I've not checked how much time it took to establish the connection.
Has the download timeout changed recently?
Any idea?

Just more information.

I've cleaned up my browser cache, and benched the connection & download time on this machine and it takes really more than 20s to connect.

Can you download the LAV and MadVR files yourself and then install manually in JRiver plugin folders?

If the problem/issue is later resolved/solved, when you upgrade to the newer version the files in the plugin folder would just be overwriten.

During download? Why not, I'm going to check. But the ZIP is very small compared to other packages I download.

Thx for help. It's not as easy as this since JRiver stores info in the registry and check against this info.
I know how to get both packages even from JRiver file server, I just want to understand why these files takes so much time to connect and download when accessed from this box.

We have had one other similar report recently, but the problem isn't wide spread, so my guess is that some security software doesn't like something about the download process.

Ok I've found the problem, I run behind a home wide squid/clamav firewall that seems to take really long time to respond when connecting to files.jriver.com, Few minutes before I've downloaded the NVidia GPU driver, and it responded instantly. So it's either related to the communication with website or the archive. I'm going to investigate.
For now I've created a rule to by pass the proxy when squid/clamav when going to files.jriver.com
