MC23 for audiophiles

<< < (4/5) > >>

SilverLitz:
I would like an automated way to input the filter coefficients derived from Room EQ Wizard (REW) into MC's DSP filter.

It would also be nice to the ability to have multiple filter configurations saved, with the ability to switch between the different active DSP filters with a simple click.

chrisc:
Musicmax mentions sending the music file as a continuous stream as opposed to discrete files.  Could this concept be explained please?

JR offers to "play from memory" instead of from the HDD.  Is there any audible benefit to this?

buckeyewalt:
So in terms of a pure audiophile program, MC22 (23) is the end of development. Is that correct? If not, what else can be expected?

Awesome Donkey:
Well, in the forum description for the JRiver Media Center 22 for Windows section it says development has ended, so very likely yes, it has ended.

tyler69:
if i'm not mistaken, i think what buckeyewalt wants is a confirmation that all features that JRiver considers as being "for the audiophile" are already implemented in mc (this was said several times iirc) and that versions >22 will not have any more "features for the audiophile".
