MC22 is feature complete.  We don't know yet what MC23 will bring.

tyler69:
maybe some official statements here and there would be benefitial, so your users don't think of mc22 as feature complete with regard to "audiophile features" (read: if an audiophile feature makes sense it will be implemented in versions >22).

Hmm, yes, but there are still few things to improve.

We mentioned on the forum in few places that a rework of the PCM/DSD settings against DAC capabilities would be welcome.
There is a nice dialog for PCM, instead of patching around to support DSD, would be nicier to have DSD/../DSD512 handling in the same place

P.S. Oops.. I see I actually mentioned this above. I don't know why can't I explain myself :-(

Foobar has the ability to send the audio signal to the renderer as a continuous stream rather than as discrete files.  MC should as well.

I asked Oppo customer service about gapless playback and included their reply:

--- Quote from: ilikemusic ---Does Oppo intend to support gapless playback over DLNA, i.e. enable SetNextAVtransportUri for the Oppo 105d? [...] My player has the latest firmware (10XEU-83-1226).

--- Quote from: Customer Service Oppo Digital ---The ability to support DLNA/SMB with Gapless Playback is something that we have been investigating, but at this time it does not seem likely that we will be able to support this since Gapless Playback uses a buffer exploit which we have not been able to get working through the network.
