streaming flac
« on: September 12, 2017, 06:21:56 am »

For listening to my headphone I use a Pi with on top a DIGI-ONE with Volumio installed. My musicserver is running JRiver. With JRemote I can stream music to the pi. All my music is flac, but
Volumio says the stream is mp3, altough 24 bit (the flac is originally 16 bit) Hi res music, 192000/24 bit, is displayed as mp3 48kHz, 24 bit.
When I hook up a usb drive with my music to the pi Volumio plays it correct.
I have tried all options with conversion in the client options without any result.
Hopefully someone can help me. I really like to use jriver, because everything is tagged correct and in Volumio my music is quite a mess.

Check the conversion settings of the DLNA Server.
